Menorca S'algar

If you’re looking for a secluded resort, S’Algar is the resort for you. Located on the south east corner of Menorca, it is approximately 6 miles from the airport and while it is only a 15 minute drive, visitors will be surprised by how secluded it is.

S’Algar, during the summer months, has public transportation available and Mahon is just a short distance away. Consisting of a few large hotels, a small number of apartment dwellings, and some private homes and villas, the resort offers a visitor all the seclusion they desire and high standards of living for all visiting.

Activities in S'algar

The only thing lacking on S’Algar is a true beach. There is a small strip of sand located in the front of the Hotel S’Algar, so if one is looking for a beach resort, S’Algar is not the place for them. However, even due to the lack of beach, there are numerous activities in which do while staying at S’Algar. Known for its sporting facilities, visitors will have the choices of wind surfing, tennis, and horseback riding, along with several lawn bowling greens. Among the other amenities in which to choose from are a diving center and a seaside British sub aqua club.

Eating and Drinking S'algar

The resort is also home to a decent amount of bars and restaurants to choose from and the two major hotels provide entertainment in the evening. While there are not a lot of shops located in S’Algar, you can certainly find what you need at the sea front, including a bakery, supermarket, and, of course, a gift shop.

S’Algar is the perfect resort for those looking for an activity based resort. From bowling contests and children’s shows, there will be something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
